Share And Share Alike.

June 17, 2012

Thousands of Father’s will have today to reflect on all the things they have done to create memories when their children were present.  Many of the reflections may include a to-do list of memories they plan to create with their children on future dates.  The support for Father’s present and departed today on Father’s Day will be felt all over as the spirit of fatherhood and brotherly love floats through American cities and into the neighborhoods that will celebrate them.

Thousands of Mother’s will be told, “Happy Father’s Day.”  This is representative of the single parent who has to respond to both the role of the caregiver and breadwinner, mother and father.  Many will reply, “Thank you” with pride, as the invisible action of patting themselves on the back occurs.  If somebody has to do it, leave it to me.  A typical attitude of the strong and determined parent.

Thousands of children will feel left out of today’s pats on the back as they see no father present and in front of them.  Many may be removed to Active Duty, some sadly deceased, others incarcerated while the rest of them are hated; by the mother’s that refuse to share and share alike.

Happy Father’s Day!

Tomorrow’s post:  Thrilling

Read. Post. Facebook. Tweet. Share. Return.  There truly is a message behind the messenger.

This has been Sharon Saffold blogging on purpose and not by chance because chances are, I will blog again.
