Remember to Remember.
Ever double as a friend and a foe? To put it in modern terms, are you, or have you been, a frenemy? Is it an art? Is it called politics? I have been told before that Southern American’s are “fake” in comparison to the Northern and even Mid-Western American’s, with our polite southern drawl and smirk hidden smiles. Is there any truth that? “Rude!” Well, I am just repeating it as I’ve heard it. Those Northerners are often unapologetic and just plain rude.” Is that at all true?
Are American’s consistently politicking unaware, pushing and charming our politic views onto our children and friends? In this political climate I am always reminding myself to remember to remember that all of us are different and entitled to different views and freedom of speech.
I charge you to remember to remember as you go to vote not just the polite words or the rude campaign moments, the southern drawls or the powerful speech. I challenge you to remember what equal means and how it relates to the future of our great country.
Remember what freedom is and how this country has always vowed to preserve it. Remember what we represent as a whole and not a state or region. Remember the star bangled banner and our once tangled views haven been made straight for all to see and mimic if needed. Remember to remember why we show respect to our leaders, choose freedom of choice and speak loud and often unapolgeticly.
In all of your remembering…remember to Vote, Uphold and Respect our White House.
